The Omen

Argh! How can I miss one post this early into the semester! Cant let the procrastination creep in can we? Speaking of reflective, nothing eventful happened(study wise anyway :P) except the fire alarm going off at K building and everyone inside had to be evacuated which thankfully let me off for half an hour or so. No, nothing was burnt down. Yes, I'm sure some of you with a sadistic mind wanted that to happen so that the assignments or something be pushed to a later date. Yes, I know cause I'm that kind of person.

Well, we still had to return and finish our presentation on the water supply system. I am amused that the whole tutorial choose the water supply system. However there were quite a lot of different explanation though consisting of the same key objects and concepts. A few presentation were well presented but no one team were over the top that it put everyone to shame. Not surprising after all that this system is already applied in place. With that, it's all that it is for last week.

Well what comes next? Don't mind the cheesy title but it's a sign of things to come. It's week... urm...5? I think. But either way, assignments are starting to trickle in slowly but only to break the dam sooner or later.

For Systems Analysis and Design, we are set in for an interesting assignment on requirement specification. Sounds scary. The first thing we needed to do were to prepare interview questions to gather information on the project from listening to an audio file that contains an interview(odd isn't it?) with the client.

It talks about the attributes of an on-line system created to help him manage bookings for golf lessons cliincs and tee off times for competitions. With a new group and ample help from our tutor we were quickly able to finish making 13 questions. The only thing now to wait is for the interview itself tomorrow. We'd see what brings, along with the assignment, which I have yet to read completely(but should). *tsk tsk* =/

Oh well, till then. *hopes that I wont procrastinate anymore*
